Summary:
I have used this tent at 11,000 ft on Mt. Shasta, throughout the Desolation
Wilderness, and along the John Muir trail in the Mt. Whitney region.
Up and down the trail you will definitely know you are packing a tent.
If it rains, hails, or snows you can be certain the tent is bombproof.
This tent has decent ventilation for a 3/4 season tent.
This tent is SUPER!
Only drawback. . .weight
Customer Service:
I own many Mountain Hardwear products but have as yet to damage or wear
out my equipment. Not needing customer service is wonderful.

Summary:
Great tent. Little heavy for solo backpacking use, but fine if you
have someone else along to carry the food. Bombproof shelter. Doesn't leak
a drop in the rain, and I've had it out in a couple of pretty heavy downpours.
Resistant to wind. Plenty of room for me, my wife, our gear and our 90#
labrador retriever.
Can't say a bad thing about this tent except the weight, but that's what
you get with a 3+ season tent.
Customer Service:
Customer service is great. The tip came off of one of the poles. I got
their number off of the website, called 'em up, told them I needed it fixed
by a particular date for my next trip, they said fine, fixed it for me, and
got it here a day early. Flawless.

Summary:
Phenominal piece of gear. Range of use has been impressive from summer
trips on the Appalachian to winter trips in the snow and ice. Extremely
comfortable in the summer with a down bag and well-ventilated. As for the
winter, during the middle of an unsuspecting and blinding sleet/ice storm
the shelter held up well. I was nprepared with the wrong bag and honestly
think the tent was my savior. Quick to set up and break down when time is
an issue.
Customer Service:
Upon sending back a tent pole for replacement I was strung-out on the return.
the pole was bent accidentally by one of my campers on a trip, I returned
it, willing to pay all costs, and the turn around time was not impressive.

Summary:
I bought this tent for a trip to the Wind Rivers this past August, where
it withstood 40mph+ winds, driving rain, sleet & snow without any leaks,
rips, tears, etc. I was very impressed with how well this tent held up the
4" of ice caked to the outside of the tent the next morning! Plenty of inside
mesh pockets, and a cool gear loft to put wet socks. I've since used this
tent for 2-person winter camping with no problems. My only complaint is that
the vestibule could be a little bigger.

Summary:
I love this tent! Being 6'4" tall, I looked long and hard for a tent
that could fit my lanky body. Sturdy construction, with plenty of guy lines,
this tent is great in any condition.
My complaints are weight and a learning curve for setting it up. Practice,
as it is not fun trying to figure it out in the dark.
What I love about it: Spacious (but not too big), design (low and stealthy
for high winds), window at the top just in case you can't fall asleep.
Customer Service:
I haven't had to use it yet.

Summary:
If looking for a very good 3+ season tent look no further. I just recently
had the chance of going an a backpacking trip with a buddy of mine and it
held up great in at least 35 mph winds. When we awoke, the tent had about
2 feet of fresh snow. Despite a little less room, the tent stood up to the
snow and the midnight wind very well. I really craved the internal mesh pockets
and plenty of room where I could store all the gear. On the minus side,
however, I found some condensation in the tent when I woke up. Also, I have
to agree with the other reviewers on this: it weighs a little too much to
be carried on summer trips or other light excursions.

Summary:
A very well thought out, if a bit heavy tent. It is definately good
enough for all but stormy winter weather (guessing, haven't had to find out!).
It has lots of guy out points and loops for tensioning it from the inside.
A "tension shelf" adds strength to the front of the tent while also giving
you a nice place to dry socks and stash a headlight. Plenty of pockets along
the sides. Ventilation/condensation is pretty good. There is a mesh ceiling
that can be zipped closed in the winter and a zipper hole in the ceiling for
adjusting the fly without leaving the tent. It is roomy enough for 2 people
with space for gear in the back and in the vestibule. I was surpised by
what a big difference the clear plastic UVX windows (one in front, one on
top) make in the "mood" of the tent. It is so much more pleasant to lie in
a tent if you can still see the outdoors.
A great tent for someone looking for an "all around tent" to do a little
of everything.
Biggest complaint would be the lack of a pole for the vestibule but that
would just add to the weight.

Summary:
While not for the lightweight purist, this tent is a strong choice for
those wanting more than reasonable roominess (in tent and vestibule) and
versatility with less-than-user-friendly weather. You won't lack storage
pockets (tension shelf seems to work well and is handy addt'l storage). ""Convertible""
window is great for views as well as adjustible ventilation for varying conditions
(a tremendous benefit for early/late season weather). In pretty high winds
(35-45 mph?) the tent was pretty stable when staked and guyed out. Planning
to intentionally get buried in the snow for some backcountry boarding on fresh
powder this season in the Sierras and see how the tent holds up...
Customer Service:
Have worked in outdoor retail for a few years and have absolutely LOVED
the company and their reps. They have been good to customers and our shops
and if you know what's out there, ya gotta love their gear! They are strong
and creative company with great R&D.

Excellent attention to details. Durable, easy to setup, and absolutely
wind proof. Windows add both roominess and light ot the tent making using
his tent a pleasure. Is a little heavy but non of the additional weight
is wasted on tacky features.

Summary:
One of the best two person tents I've ever used. It's rated as a two
person tent but there is plenty of room for a third. Plus with the ample
vestibule there is more than enuf room for gear. A little heavy if your
looking for a combo one and two person tent. But rugged enuf for the mountain
hardware name.

Summary:
If you're looking for a durable 3.5 season tent that can take a beating,
consider this one. The Nightview is very stable, roomy and practically bombproof.
With a window running most of the length of the ceiling (mesh on the canopy,
clear UVX on the fly), you can lay inside and watch the stars (or the rain)
from the comfort of your sleeping bag. The vestible is large enough for a
pack, boots and/or cooking supplies (or in my case my 90lb dog!) and it, too,
includes a window on the fly. The windows let in a lot of light so the interior
is bright. The Nightview also has nice features like plenty of mesh storage
pockets inside and the Tension Shelf which is a unique design feature that
while intended to increase the tent's strength also adds a storage shelf
inside above the door - great for drying clothes! The quality of this tent
is superb. The only drawback is its weight. It's over 8 pounds.
